We first arrived in Bali in 2017, and in 2022 we committed to building our dream there — signing a 28-year lease on a 745 m² plot near Dreamland Beach, Uluwatu. Our plan was to create a private 3-bedroom villa alongside four smaller rental villas.

But as Bali grew busier and more crowded, we started exploring South Asia in search of a new place that felt like home. After months of traveling, our last stop was Lombok — and it instantly captured our hearts.

Lombok offered everything we were missing: open space, clean beaches, fresh air, welcoming locals, and a more relaxed lifestyle. Just a short 25-minute flight from Bali, yet with a completely different climate thanks to the Wallace Line. The weather here is drier and less humid, which means fewer mosquitoes, no mold in the villas, and the freedom to enjoy outdoor living year-round in peace and comfort.

In 2024, we took the next step and secured a 2,100 m² freehold plot in Kuta, Lombok — this time under our company’s ownership. Today, we are already building our own dream villa on the land, with plans to develop additional rental villas around it.
